ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zones in North Point

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 22 September 2017, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(a) the section of King Wah Road from a point about 10 metres west of its junction with Oil Street to the same junction; and

(b) the western kerbside lane of Oil Street from a point about 15 metres south of its junction with King Wah Road to a point about 15 metres north of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b) loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
