Temporary Traffic Arrangements
for Tram Track Renewal Works in Eastern District

　　Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the tram track renewal works in Eastern District, the following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic (except trams) from about 10.00 am on 23 September 2017 to 11.59 pm on 6 October 2017 or until the above works is completed:

(i) the nearside lane of Shau Kei Wan Road eastbound from its junction with Hoi An Street to a point about 40 metres west of the same junction;

(ii) the offside lane of Hoi An Street from its junction with Shau Kei Wan Road to a point about 35 metres north of the same junction; and

(iii) the tram lane on Hoi An Street from its junction with Shau Kei Wan Road to a point about 35 metres north of the same junction.

　　Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on site to guide motorists.  The Transport Department anticipates that the traffic in the vicinity of Shau Kei Wan Road would be relatively congested during the above works period.  Motorists should exercise tolerance and patience in case of traffic congestion. Members of the public are advised to plan their journey early and allow more traveling time to cater for unexpected delay, and watch out for the latest traffic news through media.
