Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Cheung Sha Wan

        Members of the public are advised that to facilitate drainage works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Cheung Sha Wan from 10.00 am on 1 December 2017 to 19 January 2018:-

I. Temporary Traffic Arrangement

Cheung Fat Street northbound from its junction with Po On Road to a point about 75 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

Affected vehicles from Po On Road eastbound leading to Cheung Fat Street will be diverted via Tonkin Street northbound, Kwong Lee Road westbound and Cheung Fat Street southbound.

Affected vehicles from Po On Road westbound leading to Cheung Fat Street will be diverted via Hing Wah Street southbound, Castle Peak Road eastbound, Tonkin Street northbound, Kwong Lee Road westbound and Cheung Fat Street southbound.

Affected vehicles from Cheung Fat Street northbound will be diverted via Po On Road westbound, Hing Wah Street southbound, Castle Peak Road eastbound, Tonkin Street northbound, Kwong Lee Road westbound and Cheung Fat Street southbound.

II. Temporary Transport Arrangement

Bus

KMB route nos. 2, 6P, NWFB route nos. 796C, 796E, 970, 970X, and XHT route no. 112 (So Uk Bound) will be diverted via Tonkin Street northbound, Kwong Lee Road westbound, Cheung Fat Street southbound and then resume to its original routings.

The existing bus stops for KMB route nos. 2, 6P, NWFB route nos. 796C, 796E, 970, 970X, and XHT route no. 112 in Cheung Fat Street northbound (near the work site of So Uk Estate redevelopment) and on Po On Road westbound (near Po Hei Court) will be temporarily suspended. Temporarily bus stops will be provided at Tonkin Street northbound (near Han Garden) and Kwong Lee Road westbound (near Lai Yeung House).

GMB

GMB route no. 45B (So Uk Bound) will be diverted via Fat Tseung Street northbound, Kwong Lee Road westbound, Cheung Fat Street southbound and then resume to its original routings.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
