TRAFFIC ADVICE

Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements at Fife Street, Mong Kok

        Motorists are advised that in order to facilitate road works, the following traffic and transport arrangements will be temporarily implemented at Fife Street with effect from 1.00 am to 5.30 am daily on 12 and 14 December 2017:-

I. Temporary Traffic Arrangement

A. Road Closure

The section of Fife Street between Sai Yeung Choi Street South and Nathan Road will be temporarily closed to all traffic. All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making left turn movement from Nathan Road southbound onto Fife Street eastbound.

B. Traffic Diversion

Affected vehicles will be diverted via Nathan Road southbound, Shan Tung Street eastbound, Sai Yee Street northbound, Mong Kok Road westbound, Tung Choi Street southbound and Fife Street.

II. Temporary transport arrangements

New Territories GMB route no. 61S (Mong Kok bound) will be temporarily diverted via Nathan Road southbound, Mong Kok Road eastbound and Sai Yeung Choi Street South southbound before resuming its original routeing. The existing GMB stop at Fife Street eastbound (near Nathan Road) will be temporarily relocated to Sai Yeung Choi Street South southbound (near Mong Kok Road).

Hong Kong Island GMB route no. 61 (Mong Kok bound) will be temporarily diverted via Nathan Road southbound, Mong Kok Road eastbound and Tung Choi Street southbound before resuming its original routeing. The existing GMB stop at Fife Street eastbound (near Sai Yeung Choi Street South) will be temporarily relocated to Fa Yuen Street southbound (near Fa Yuen Street Market Complex).

        Appropriate traffic signs will be put up on site to guide motorists. Public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
