(CHAPTER 374)

Temporary Restricted Zones in To Kwa Wan

     In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 22 December 2017 to 12 February 2018, the following road sections in To Kwa Wan will be temporarily designated as restricted zone 24 hours daily:

     (a) the eastern kerbside lane of Maidstone Road from a point about 5 meters north of its junction with Lok Shan Road to a point about 25 meters south of the same junction;
     (b) the western kerbside lane of Maidstone Road from a point about 5 meters north of its junction with Lok Shan Road to a point about 20 meters south of the same junction;
     (c) the northern kerbside lane of Lok Shan Road from its junction with Maidstone Road to a point about 20 meters west of the same junction; and
     (d) the southern kerbside lane of Lok Shan Road from its junction with Maidstone Road to a point about 10 meters west of the same junction.

     Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

     (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
     (b) loading or unloading goods.

     The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

     At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
