ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS
(CHAPTER 374)

Extension of Temporary Restricted Zones in Kowloon City

     In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 1 January 2018 to 31 March 2018, the following road sections in Kowloon City will continue to be temporarily designated restricted zones 24 hours daily:

     (a) the southern kerbside lane of Nga Tsin Wai Road from a point about 15 metres east of its junction with Nam Kok Road to a point about 5 metres west of the same junction;
     (b) the section of Prince Edward Road West from its junction with Nam Kok Road to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction; and
     (c) the section of Nam Kok Road between Prince Edward Road West and Nga Tsin Wai Road (except the lay-by).

     Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

     (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
     (b) loading or unloading goods.

     The extent of the restricted zones has been indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
