ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Extension of Temporary Restricted Zones in Cheung Fat Street, Cheung Sha Wan

　　In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 16 February 2018 to 14 April 2018, the following road sections in Cheung Fat Street will continue to be temporarily designated restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

　　(a) The western kerbside lane of Cheung Fat Street from a point about 180 metres north of its junction with Po On Road to a point about 265 metres north of the same junction; and
　　(b) The eastern kerbside lane of Cheung Fat Street from a point about 175 metres north of its junction with Po On Road to a point about 275 metres north of the same junction.

     Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from: 

　　(a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or
　　(b)  loading or unloading goods.

     The extent of the restricted zones has been indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

     At the same time, the existing restricted zones the above road sections will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
