TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE

Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Tsim Sha Tsui

        Members of the public are advised that in connection with the construction of Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link, the at-grade road section of Lin Cheung Road between Jordan Road and Civil Aid Service Headquarters will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic and the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented daily from 1.00 a.m. to 5.00 a.m. from 13 to 14, 16, 20 and 22 March 2018:-

(I) Traffic diversions

(i) Vehicles from Jordan Road eastbound heading for Kwai Chung and Lantau will be diverted to travel via Jordan Road eastbound, Road D1A(S) southbound, Wui Cheung Road eastbound, Canton Road northbound, Jordan Road westbound, Hoi Po Road northbound and Lin Cheung Road northbound;

(ii) Vehicles from Jordan Road eastbound heading for Hong Kong (West) will be diverted to travel via Jordan Road eastbound, Ferry Street northbound, Yan Cheung Road westbound, Hoi Wang Road northbound, slip road and West Kowloon Highway southbound;

(iii) Vehicles from Jordan Road westbound heading for Kwai Chung and Lantau will be diverted to travel via Jordan Road westbound, Hoi Po Road northbound and Lin Cheung Road northbound; and

(iv) Vehicles from Jordan Road westbound heading for Hong Kong (West) will be diverted to travel via Jordan Road westbound, Road D1A(S) southbound, Wui Cheung Road eastbound, Canton Road northbound, Ferry Street northbound, Yan Cheung Road westbound, Hoi Wang Road northbound, slip road and West Kowloon Highway southbound;

(II) Public transport arrangements

(i) KMB route no. 269B and Citybus route no. N11 from Jordan Road westbound heading for New Territories West and Lantau will be diverted to travel via Jordan Road westbound, Hoi Po Road northbound and Lin Cheung Road northbound before resuming their normal routeings on West Kowloon Highway northbound;

(ii) NWFB route no. 970X from Jordan Road westbound heading for Hong Kong Island will be diverted to travel via Jordan Road westbound, Road D1A(S) southbound, Wui Cheung Road eastbound, Canton Road northbound, Ferry Street northbound, Yan Cheung Road westbound, Hoi Wang Road northbound, slip road before resuming its normal routeing on West Kowloon Highway southbound; and

(iii) The bus stop at Jordan Road outside MTR Austin Station for NWFB route no. 970X from Jordan Road westbound heading for Hong Kong Island will be suspended.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. The bus companies will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary public transport arrangements.
