ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS
(CHAPTER 374 SUB. LEG. G)

Temporary Restricted Zones on Farm Road and Ying Choi Path, To Kwa Wan

     In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374 sub. leg. G, I hereby direct that with effect from from 17 April 2018 to 16 September 2018, the following road sections on Farm Road and Ying Choi Path will be temporarily designated restricted zones at the periods specified below:

     From 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. daily
     (a) the northern kerbside lane of Farm Road from a point about 5 metres east of its junction with Tin Kwong Road to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction; 
     (b) the northern kerbside lane of Farm Road from a point about 85 metres east of its junction with Tin Kwong Road to a point about 165 metres east of the same junction;
     (c) the southern kerbside lane of Farm Road from a point about 5 metres east of its junction with Tin Kwong Road to a point about 130 metres east of the same junction (except parking spaces);
     (d) the southern kerbside lane of Farm Road from a point about 150 metres east of its junction with Tin Kwong Road to a point about 170 metres east of the same junction; and
     (e) the section of Ying Choi Path from its junction with Farm Road to a point about 5 metres south of the same junction.

     From 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. daily, except general holidays
     (a) the southern kerbside lane of Farm Road from its junction with Ma Tau Wai Road to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction; and
     (b) the northern kerbside lane of Farm Road from its junction with Ma Tau Wai Road to a point about 60 metres west of the same junction.

     Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

     (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
     (b) loading or unloading goods.

     The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

     At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
