TRAFFIC ADVICE
Special Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Wan Chai North
between 7 May 2018 and 28 May 2018
Members of the public are advised that to facilitate the police operation, the following special traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Wan Chai North from about 7.00 am to 8.00 am and from about 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm daily during the period between 7 May 2018 and 28 May 2018 (except Saturdays, Sundays and public holiday):
A. Road Closure
The section of Harbour Road between Fleming Road and Fenwick Pier Street will be intermittently closed to all vehicular traffic.
B. Suspension of Bus Stop
The following bus stops will be suspended during the road closure period:
Suspended stops Affected routes Harbour Road outside Central Plaza • NWFB 18 and 18P • CTB 40M Harbour Road outside Shui On Centre • NWFB 18 and 18P • CTB 40M Harbour Road outside Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre • XHT 905, 905P, 914P, 914X, 978, 978A and 978B
Vehicles in car parks within the affected areas may not be permitted to enter or leave the car parks during the road closure period until the road closure is lifted.
Further adjustment to the above traffic and transport arrangements may be made by the Police at the time depending on the actual conditions.
Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience when driving in the vicinity of the affected areas and follow the police's instruction. The public are advised to use public transport services as far as possible, avoid driving to the affected areas and watch out for the latest traffic news via media.
