Traffic Advice

Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Sam Shing Street, Tuen Mun

        Members of the public are advised that in order to facilitate road works on Sam Shing Street, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Tuen Mun from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on 23 and 30 July 2018.

(a)  Road Closure

- The section of Sam Shing Street westbound between Hanford Garden and its northern junction with Castle Peak Road - Castle Peak Bay will be closed to all vehicular traffic.

(b)  Turning Prohibition

-  Vehicles will be prohibited from marking right turn from Castle Peak Road - Castle Peak Bay southbound onto Sam Shing Street westbound.

-  Vehicles will be prohibited from marking left turn from Castle Peak Road - Castle Peak Bay northbound onto Sam Shing Street westbound.

(c)  Traffic Diversion

- Affected motorists are advised to travel via Sam Shing Street westbound from its southern junction with Castle Peak Road - Castle Peak Bay and Sam Shing Street northbound.

(d)  Traffic Diversion of Bus and GMB

- Traffic diversion of bus routes and GMB routes will be as follows:

KMB Route Nos. 261, 61M	The routes on Castle Peak Road - Castle Peak Bay will be diverted to travel via the southern junction of Castle Peak Road - Castle Peak Bay with Sam Shing Street, Sam Shing Street westbound and Sam Shing Street northbound.
MTR Bus Route Nos. K51 and K53
GMB Route Nos. 140M and 43C

(e)  Suspension of Bus Stop and GMB Stand

- The bus stop and GMB stand of the following routes on Castle Peak Road - Castle Peak Bay northbound near Sam Shing Estate will be suspended. Passengers can use the bus stop at Sam Shing Bus Terminus.
