Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Tsing Yi

        Members of the public are advised that in order to facilitate road maintenance works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 11.30 pm to 6.00 am of the following day daily on 18 and 19 August 2022:

(I)   Traffic Arrangements

(i)   Road closure
The following road sections will be closed to all vehicular traffic:
      1. Parts of the traffic lanes of Cheung Tsing Highway (Kowloon bound) between North West Tsing Yi Interchange and Cheung Tsing Tunnel; and
      2. The slip road leading from Cheung Tsing Highway (Kowloon bound) to Tsing Yi Road West.
(ii)  Traffic diversion
      1. Vehicles on Lantau Link (Kowloon bound) heading for Tsing Yi will be diverted via North West Tsing Yi Interchange and Tsing Yi North Coastal Road eastbound.
      2. Vehicles on Tsing Long Highway/ Ting Kau Bridge (Kowloon bound) heading for Tsing Yi will be diverted via the leftmost slip road leading to Tsing Yi Administration Building, North West Tsing Yi Interchange and Tsing Yi North Coastal Road eastbound.
(iii) Temporary speed limit
The speed limit of the following road sections will be reduced to 50 km/hr:
      1. The section of North West Tsing Yi Interchange (Kowloon bound) near Tsing Yi Administration Building;
      2. The section of Cheung Tsing Highway (Kowloon bound) between North West Tsing Yi Interchange and the vicinity of the western entrance of Cheung Tsing Tunnel; and
      3. The section of Tsing Sha Highway (Kowloon bound) between Cheung Tsing Highway and the vicinity of the western entrance of Nam Wan Tunnel.
(II)  Transport Arrangements

(i)   Bus and green minibus (GMB) diversion

via Tuen Mun Road eastbound, Tsuen Wan Road eastbound, Tsuen Tsing Interchange, Tsing Tsuen Road westbound, Tam Kon Shan Interchange, Fung Shue Wo Road southbound, Tsing Yi Road West southbound, Ching Hong Road eastbound, roundabout and Ching Hong Road westbound.

Long Win Bus (LWB) nos. A32 and NA32

To Kwai Chung

via North West Tsing Yi Interchange, Tsing Yi North Coastal Road eastbound, Tam Kon Shan Interchange, Fung Shue Wo Road southbound and Tsing Yi Road West southbound.

To Tsuen Wan/ Kwai Fong/ Shatin

via North West Tsing Yi Interchange, Tsing Yi North Coastal Road eastbound, Tam Kon Shan Interchange, Fung Shue Wo Road southbound, Tsing Yi Road West southbound, Ching Hong Road eastbound, roundabout and Ching Hong Road westbound.

        Motorists are advised to drive with care and patience when approaching the above road sections. Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists. The bus and GMB companies will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
