TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Traffic Arrangements on Hoi Bun Road, Kai Hing Road
and Lam Chak Street, Kowloon Bay
Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the implementation of the Kai Tak Development, the junction of Hoi Bun Road with Kai Hing Road will be permanently converted from a priority junction to a signalized junction and traffic diversion of Lam Chak Street and section of Kai Hing Road will be implemented with effect from 6.00 am on 28 August 2022. The following temporary and permanent traffic arrangements will be implemented.
A. Temporary Road Closure
From 11.00 pm on 27 August 2022 to 6.00 am on 28 August 2022, Kai Hing Road and Lam Chak Street will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
B. Temporary Traffic Diversion
From 11.00 pm on 27 August 2022 to 6.00 am on 28 August 2022, affected vehicles on Hoi Bun Road eastbound heading for Cheung Yip Street southbound will be diverted via Shun Yip Street northbound, Wai Yip Street northbound and Sheung Yee Road eastbound.
C. Permanent Traffic Diversion from 6.00 am on 28 August 2022
(i) The section of Kai Hing Road between Lam Chak Street and Hoi Bun Road will be converted from one-way southbound traffic to one-way northbound traffic; and
(ii) Lam Chak Street will be converted from one-way westbound traffic to one-way eastbound traffic.
