In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 11.00 pm to 6.00 am on the following day daily from 6 to 17 February 2023, the section of Tai Po Road – Sha Tin southbound from the point about 220 metres north of its junction with Sha Tin Road to a point about 490 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

At the same time, the existing speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
