In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.00 midnight on 1 April 2023 to 11.59 pm on 31 December 2023, the section of flyover linking Ma Tau Chung Road northbound and Prince Edward Road East eastbound from a point about 150 metres west of its junction with Choi Hung Road to a point about 550 metres west of the same junction will continue to be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour, in order to facilitate road works.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above road section will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
