Notice is hereby given that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Fanling Highway and Tai Wo Service Road East:
(1) ROAD CLOSURE
The leftmost traffic lane of Fanling Highway southbound from a point about 245 metres north of its junction with Ho Ka Yuen Footbridge to a point of about 70 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic from 1:00 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. on 7 October 2023.
(2) BANNING OF TURNING MOVEMENT AND TRAFFIC DIVERSIONAll vehicles on the slip road leading from Fanling Highway southbound to Tai Wo Service Road East (Exit 7A) will be temporarily prohibited from making left turn onto Tai Wo Service Road East northbound from 1.00 a.m. on 7 October 2023 to 1.00 a.m. on 7 October 2024.
Affected vehicles will be diverted via Tai Wo Service Road East roundabout and Tai Wo Service Road East northbound.
The bus stops of KMB Route Nos. 73B, 270A, 270B, 270C, 270D, 270P, 274, 277A, 277E, 277P, 277X, 278A, 278X, 673, 673A, 673P, W3 and CTB Route No. B7 on Fanling Highway Bus-Bus Interchange will be temporarily relocated to about 120 metres northward from 1.00 a.m. on 7 October 2023 to 1.00 a.m. on 7 October 2024.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive in utmost care. The bus companies will display notices at the stops to advise passengers of the above arrangement.
