Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Kung Um Road, Yuen Long

        Notice is hereby given that, to facilitate the infrastructure works for Yuen Long South Second Phase Development, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 10:00 am on 1 December 2023 to 6:00 am on 3 May 2024.

• Road Closure
  The section of Kung Um Road from its junction with the unnamed access road near Lung Tin Sewage Pumping Station to a point about 80 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
  
  
• Temporary Traffic Arrangements
  Affected motorists on Kung Um Road (both bounds) will be diverted via the temporary roads.
  
  
• Temporary Transport Arrangements
  Both bounds of the New Territories Green Minibus Route No. 39 (Kung Um – Fung Cheung Road), Route No. 39 Special Service (Kung Um – Yuen Long Station) and Route No. 39A(Kung Um Road (Muk Kiu Tau) – Yuen Long(Kau Yuk Road) (Circular)) will be diverted via the temporary road for the section of Kung Um Road near Lung Tin Sewage Pumping Station and Kam Fong Yuen before resuming its normal routeing. The GMB stop will be temporarily relocated for about 15 meters northwards.

        Motorists are advised to drive with utmost care and patience. Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.
