ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones on Hoi Bun Road, Kwun Tong


        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 19 January 2024, the following road sections in Kwun Tong will be designated as restricted zones from 8.00 am to 10.00 am and from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm daily (except general holidays):


(a)     the northern kerbside lane of Hoi Bun
Road from a point about 80 metres east of its junction with Shun Yip Street to a point about 175 metres east of the same junction;

(b)     the eastern kerbside lane of the egress of Kwun
Tong Promenade on Hoi Bun Road from a point about 125 metres east of its junction with Shun Yip Street to a point about 10 metres south of the aforementioned starting point; and

(c)     the southern kerbside lane of Hoi Bun Road from a point about
125 metres east of its junction with Shun Yip Street to a point about 165 metres east of the same junction.


        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses, taxis and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:


(a)    picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)    loading or unloading goods.


        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate
traffic signs or road markings.


        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
