TRAFFIC ADVICE
Extension of Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Ko Chiu Road and
Pik Wan Road, Yau Tong
Members of public are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will continue to be implemented on Ko Chiu Road and Pik Wan Road from 6.00 pm on 31 January 2024 to 6.00 pm on 30 April 2024.
(1) Lane Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
(a) Part of the slow lane of Ko Chiu Road southbound from a point about 60 metres west of its junction with Pik Wan Road to a point about 130 metres west of the same junction; and
(b) The slip road leading from Pik Wan Road southbound to Ko Chiu Road westbound.
(2) Banning of Turning Movement
Vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making right turn from Pik Wan Road southbound onto Ko Chiu Road westbound.
(3) Traffic Diversion
(a) Affected vehicles on Pik Wan Road southbound heading to Lei Yue Mun Road will be diverted via Ko Chiu Road eastbound and Lei Yue Mun Road roundabout; and
(b) Affected vehicles on Pik Wan Road southbound heading to Ko Chiu Road westbound will be diverted via Ko Chiu Road eastbound, Lei Yue Mun Road roundabout and Ko Chiu Road westbound.
(4) Public Transport Arrangements
Kowloon GMB Route Nos. 24 and 24M (Yau Tong bound) will be diverted via Ko Chiu Road eastbound, Lei Yue Mun Road roundabout, Ko Chiu Road westbound and then resume original routeing to Lei Yue Mun Road Playground.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to observe the instruction and drive with utmost care. Notices will be displayed by public transport operators to advise passengers of the above arrangement.
