In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.00 midnight on 1 March 2024 to 11.59 pm on 31 May 2024, the section of Prince Edward Road East westbound from a point about 140 metres west of its junction with King Tai Street to a point about 650 metres west of the same junction will continue to be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour, in order to facilitate road works.

        Appropriate traffic signs has been erected on site to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above road section will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
