Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Kong Sham Western Highway and Shenzhen Bay Bridge Southbound (Hong Kong Bound)


       Notice is hereby given that to facilitate road work on the Kong Sham Western Highway and Shenzhen Bay Bridge southbound (Hong Kong bound), the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented in stages from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm on any 4 working days from 1 March 2024 to 31 May 2024:-

  1. A section of about 2 kilometres of slow lane on Shenzhen Bay Bridge southbound (Hong Kong bound) from chainage marker 1.2S to chainage marker 3.2S will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic, while the middle lane and fast lane will not be affected;
  2. A section of about 2 kilometres of slow lane on Shenzhen Bay Bridge southbound (Hong Kong bound) from chainage marker 3.3S to chainage marker 5.3S will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic, while the middle lane and fast lane will not be affected;
  3. A section of about 1.3 kilometres of slow lane on Shenzhen Bay Bridge southbound (Hong Kong bound) from chainage marker 0.0S to chainage marker 1.3S will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic, while the middle lane and fast lane will not be affected ; and
  4. A section of about 2.1 kilometres of fast lane on Kong Sham Western Highway southbound (Hong Kong bound) from chainage marker 5.1S to chainage marker 7.2S will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic, while the slow lane and middle lane will not be affected.
       Motorists are advised to drive with care and patience. Appropriate traffic signs will be provided at the road section concerned on site to guide motorists.
