ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones on Cha Kwo Ling Road and Sze Shan Street, Yau Tong


        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 15 March 2024, the following road sections in Kwun Tong will be designated as restricted zones
24 hours daily:-


(a)     The eastern kerbside lane of Cha Kwo Ling Road from a point about 10 metres north of its junction with Sze Shan Street to a point about 25 metres north of the same junction;

(b)     The eastern kerbside lane of Cha Kwo Ling Road from a point about 15 metres south of its junction with Sze Shan Street to a point about 40 metres south of the same junction;

(c)     The western kerbside lane of Cha Kwo Ling Road from a point about 5 metres north of its junction with Sze Shan Street to a point about 85 metres north of the same junction;

(d)     The western kerbside lane of Cha Kwo Ling Road from a point about 5 metres south of its junction with Sze Shan Street to a point about 50 metres south of the same junction;

(e)     The northern kerbside lane of Sze Shan Street from its junction with Cha Kwo Ling Road to a point about 10 metres west of the same junction; and

(f)     The southern kerbside lane of Sze Shan Street from its junction with Cha Kwo Ling Road to a point about 25 metres west of the same junction.


        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from: -


(a)    picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)    loading or unloading goods.


        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.


        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
