Traffic Advice
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements
on Mei Tin Road, Tai Wai

        Motorists are advised that in order to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 2 April to 4 May 2024 daily from 10.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day:

        From 2 April to 6 April and from 22 April to 27 April 2024

        A. Banning of Turning Movements

1. 1. All vehicles will be prohibited from turning left from the slip road of Tsing Sha Highway northbound onto Mei Tin Road southbound; and
   2. All vehicles will be prohibited from turning left from Mei Tin Road southbound onto Tai Po Road - Tai Wai eastbound.

        B. Traffic Diversions

1. 1. Affected vehicles on the slip road of Tsing Sha Highway northbound heading for Mei Tin Road southbound will be diverted via Mei Fai Street northbound and Heung Fan Liu Street eastbound; and
   2. Affected vehicles on Mei Tin Road southbound heading for Tai Po Road – Tai Wai eastbound will be diverted via Mei Tin Road southbound, roundabout and Mei Tin Road northbound.

        C. Public Transport Arrangements

1. 1. LWB Route No. A41 (Shek Mun Estate bound) will be diverted to Mei Fai Street northbound, Heung Fan Liu Street eastbound and Mei Tin Road southbound, before resuming its original routing;
   2. KMB Route Nos. 81 (Jordon (West Kowloon Station) bound), 283 (Sha Tin Central bound), LWB Route Nos. A46 (Royal Ascot bound) and NA41 (HZMB Hong Kong Port bound) will be diverted via Mei Tin Road southbound, Chik Fai Street westbound and Mei Tin Road northbound, before resuming its original routing; and
   3. KMB Route Nos. 72 (Tai Wo bound), 81 (Wo Che bound) and N283 (Wong Nai Tau bound) will be diverted to Mei Fai Street northbound, Heung Fan Liu Street eastbound, Mei Tin Road southbound, Chik Fai Street westbound and Mei Tin Road northbound, before resuming its original routing.

        From 8 April to 13 April, from 15 April to 20 April and from 29 April to 4 May 2024

        A. Banning of Turning Movements

1. 1. All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from Tai Po Road - Tai Wai westbound onto Mei Tin Road northbound; and
   2. All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from Mei Tin Road northbound onto Tai Po Road - Tai Wai eastbound.

        B. Traffic Diversions

1. 1. Affected vehicles on Tai Po Road - Tai Wai westbound heading for Mei Tin Road northbound will be diverted via Mei Tin Road southbound and roundabout; and
   2. Affected vehicles on Mei Tin Road northbound heading for Tai Po Road - Tai Wai eastbound will be diverted via Mei Tin Road northbound, Mei Fai Street northbound, Heung Fan Liu Street eastbound and Mei Tin Road southbound.

        C. Public Transport Arrangements

1. 1. KMB Route Nos. 80 (Mei Lam bound), 283 (Mei Chung Court bound) and LWB Route Nos. A46 (Airport bound) and NA41 (Shui Chuen O bound) will be diverted via Mei Tin Road southbound, roundabout and Mei Tin Road northbound, before resuming its original routing; and
   2. KMB Route Nos. 46X (Mei Foo bound), 80K (Yu Chui Court bound), 85 (Fo Tan Chun Yeung Estate bound), 88 (Sau Mau Ping (Central) bound), 88K (Royal Ascot bound), LWB Route Nos. E42 (Airport bound) and N42 (Tung Chung bound) will be diverted via Mei Fai Street northbound, Heung Fan Liu Street eastbound and Mei Tin Road southbound, before resuming its original routing.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. The public transport operator will display notices to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
