Traffic Advice
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Tin Fuk Road, Tin Shui Wai
Members of the public are advised that to facilitate construction of Tin Shui Wai Public Market, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 01.30 am to 05.00 am daily from 23 April 2024 to 27 April 2024.
(I) Road Closure
The section of Tin Fuk Road eastbound from between Tin Yiu Road and Tin Shing Road will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
(II) Traffic Diversion
- Affected vehicles from Ping Ha Road eastbound and Ping Ha Road northbound heading to Tin Fuk Road eastbound will be diverted via Tin Yiu Road northbound, Tin Wu Road eastbound and Tin Shing Road southbound toward Tin Fuk Road eastbound; and
- Affected vehicles from Tin Yiu Road southbound heading to Tin Fuk Road eastbound will be diverted via Ping Ha Road westbound, Kiu Cheong Road southbound, Kiu Fat Street eastbound, Ping Ha Road northbound, Tin Yiu Road northbound, Tin Wu Road eastbound and Tin Shing Road southbound toward Tin Fuk Road eastbound.
(III) Temporary Transport Arrangements
Bus Stop Suspension and Relocation
- The bus stop of KMB Route No. N269 (Mei Foo bound) and CTB Route No. N969 (Causeway Bay bound) on Tin Fuk Road near Tin Yau Court will be temporarily suspended and relocated to Ping Ha Road opposite Tin Shing Court.
Bus and Green Minibus (GMB) Diversions
- KMB Route No. N269 (Mei Foo bound) will be diverted via Tin Yiu Road southbound, Ping Ha Road westbound, Hung Tin Road southbound, Castle Peak Road- Ping Shan eastbound, Long Tin Road northbound and Wang Tat Road southbound before resuming original routeing;
- CTB Route No. N969 (Causeway Bay bound) will be diverted via Tin Yiu Road southbound, Ping Ha Road southbound, Hung Tin Road southbound, Yuen Long Highway eastbound, Tong Yan San Tsuen Interchange and Long Tin Road northbound before resuming original routeing; and
- GMB 79S (Lok Ma Chau Control Point bound) will be diverted via Ping Ha Road westbound, Kiu Cheong Road southbound, Kiu Fat Street eastbound, Ping Ha Road northbound, Tin Yiu Road northbound, Tin Wu Road eastbound and Tin Shing Road southbound
Operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements. Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
