Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Tai Po Road – Sha Tin, Sha Tin

        Notice is hereby given that in order to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 1.00 am to 5.00 am daily on 19 and 23 April, and from 1.00 am to 6.00 am on 5 May 2024:

1. 1. The section of Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound between Sha Tin Plaza and Fung Wo Estate; and
   2. The slip road leading from Sha Tin Rural Committee Road to Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound.

The following turning movements will be prohibited:

1. 1. Turning right from Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound onto Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound; and
   2. Turning left from Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound onto Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound.

1. 1. Affected vehicles on Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound heading for Tolo Highway will be diverted via Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound, Yuen Wo Road northbound, Sha Tin Road northbound and Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound;
   2. Affected vehicles on Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound heading for Fo Tan Road will be diverted via Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound and Yuen Wo Road northbound;
   3. Affected vehicles on Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound heading for Tolo Highway will be diverted via Pai Tau Street, Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound, Yuen Wo Road northbound, Sha Tin Road northbound and Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound;
   4. Affected vehicles on Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound heading for Fo Tan Road will be diverted via Pai Tau Street, Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound and Yuen Wo Road northbound;
   5. Affected vehicles on Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound heading for Tolo Highway will be diverted via Yuen Wo Road northbound, Sha Tin Road northbound and Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound; and
   6. Affected vehicles on Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound heading for Fo Tan Road will be diverted via Yuen Wo Road northbound.

1. 1. KMB Route Nos. 73X (Tai Po (Fu Shin) bound), 270S (Fanling (Luen Wo Hui) bound), 278X (Sheung Shui bound), LWB Route Nos. N42A (Fanling (Luen Wo Hui) bound) NA47 (Tai Po (Tai Wo) bound) and E41 (Tai Po Tau bound) will be diverted via Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound, Yuen Wo Road northbound, Sha Tin Road northbound and Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound before resuming to their original routeings; and
   2. New Territories taxis in Tsuen Wan heading for Sha Tin, Ma On Shan and Tai Po will be diverted via Route Twisk northbound, Lam Kam Road northbound, Lam Kam Road Interchange and Tolo Highway southbound.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists. Public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
