TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Victoria Park Road, Wan Chai
Notice is hereby given that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Wan Chai during the following periods:
From 10.00 pm to 6.00 am the following day on 22 April 2024
Lane Closure
Part of the traffic lane of Victoria Park Road eastbound between Cannon Street and Island Eastern Corridor will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
From 10.00 pm to 6.00 am the following day on 23 April 2024
Lane Closure
Part of the traffic lane between Wan Chai Interchange eastbound heading for North Point near Tunnel Approach Rest Garden to Victoria Park Road near Paterson Street Refuse Collection Point will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
From 10.00 pm to 6.00 am the following day on 29 April 2024
(a) Lane Closure
The following traffic lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
i. Part of the traffic lane between Wan Chai Interchange eastbound heading for North Point near Tunnel Approach Rest Garden and Victoria Park Road near Paterson Street Refuse Collection Point; and
ii. Slip road of Cross Harbour Tunnel heading for Victoria Park Road eastbound.
(b) Banning of Turning Movement
Vehicles will be prohibited from marking left turn from slip road of Cross Harbour Tunnel onto Victoria Park Road eastbound.
(c) Traffic Diversion
Affected vehicles on slip road of Cross Harbour Tunnel heading for Victoria Park Road eastbound will be diverted via Gloucester Road eastbound.
From 10.00 pm to 6.00 am the following day on 30 April 2024
(a) Lane Closure
The following traffic lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
i. Part of the traffic lane of Victoria Park Road eastbound between Hung Hing Road flyover to Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter; and
ii. Slip road of Cross Harbour Tunnel heading for Victoria Park Road eastbound.
(b) Banning of Turning Movement
Vehicles will be prohibited from marking left turn from slip road of Cross Harbour Tunnel onto Victoria Park Road eastbound.
(c) Traffic Diversion
Affected vehicles on slip road of Cross Harbour Tunnel heading for Victoria Park Road eastbound will be diverted via Gloucester Road eastbound.
From 10.00 pm to 6.00 am the following day on 6 May 2024
Lane Closure
Part of the traffic lane of Victoria Park Road eastbound between Hung Hing Road flyover and Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
From 10.00 pm to 6.00 am the following day on 7 May 2024
Lane Closure
Part of the traffic lane of Victoria Park Road eastbound between World Trade Centre and Tung Lo Wan Garden will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
From 10.00 pm to 6.00 am the following day on 13 May 2024
(a) Lane Closure
Part of the traffic lane of Victoria Park Road eastbound near Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
(b) Bus Stop Relocation
The bus stops for CTB route no. 18 and XHT route nos. 110, N118 and N368 on Victoria Park Road eastbound near Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter will be temporarily relocated about 100 metres westward.
From 10.00 pm to 6.00 am the following day on 14 and 16 May 2024
Lane Closure
Part of the traffic lane of Victoria Park Road eastbound near Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on site to guide motorists. Bus companies will put up notices to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
