Traffic Advice
Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Castle Peak Road – Sham Tseng, Tsuen Wan
Motorists are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented from 9.30 pm to 5.30 am of the following day, daily on 25 and 29 April 2024:
(I) Lane Closure
- The section of the fast lane of Castle Peak Road – Sham Tseng westbound between the roundabout near Sham Tsz Street and the bus stop outside Bellagio Mall will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
(II) Banning of Turning Movement
- All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making right-turn movements from Castle Peak Road – Sham Tseng westbound onto the slip road leading to Tuen Mun Road.
- All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making right-turn movements from the slip road leading from Tuen Mun Road onto Castle Peak Road – Sham Tseng westbound.
(III) Traffic Diversion
- Affected vehicles on Castle Peak Road – Sham Tseng westbound heading for Tuen Mun Road will be diverted via Castle Peak Road – Sham Tseng westbound, Castle Peak Road – Tsing Lung Tau westbound, roundabout near Sea Crest Villa, Castle Peak Road – Tsing Lung Tau eastbound, Castle Peak Road – Sham Tseng eastbound and the slip road leading to Tuen Mun Road.
- Affected vehicles on the slip road leading from Tuen Mun Road heading for Castle Peak Road – Sham Tseng westbound will be diverted via the slip road leading from Tuen Mun Road, Castle Peak Road – Sham Tseng eastbound, roundabout near Sham Tsz Street and Castle Peak Road – Sham Tseng westbound.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive with utmost care.
