Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Tai Po Road – Sha Tin, Sha Tin

        Members of public are advised that in order to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 1.10 am to 5.00 am daily from 26, 27 and 30 April 2024:

        A. Road Closures


The following bus lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

    1. The rightmost lane of the slip road leading from Tai Po Road - Sha Tin northbound to Sha Tin Rural Committee Road from a point about 100 metres south of its junction with Sha Tin Rural Committee Road to the same junction;
    2. The rightmost lane of Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound from a point about 20 metres east of its junction with the slip road leading from Tai Po Road - Sha Tin northbound to a point about 100 metres east of the same junction; and
    3. The road section of the slip road leading from Sha Tin Rural Committee Road to Tai Po Road - Sha Tin southbound near Sha Tin Central Bus Terminus from its junction with Sha Tin Rural Committee Road to a point about 75 metres south of the same junction.
        B. Public Transport Arrangements

    1. KMB Route No. N73 (Sha Tin Central bound) and XHT Route No. N170 (Sha Tin Central bound) will be diverted via Yuen Wo Road southbound, Tam Kon Po Street, Sha Tin Centre Street southbound, Pak Hok Ting Street and Sha Tin Centre Street northbound to Sha Tin Central Bus Terminus;
    2. KMB Route No. N271 (Hung Hom Station bound), LWB Route Nos. N42 (Tung Chung Station bound) and NA40 (Hong Kong Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (Hong Kong Port) Public Transport Interchange bound) will be diverted via Yuen Wo Road southbound, Tam Kon Po Street, Sha Tin Centre Street southbound, Pak Hok Ting Street, Sha Tin Centre Street northbound and Sha Tin Central Bus Terminus before resuming to their original routeings; and
    3. LWB Route No. NA40 (Wu Kai Sha Station bound) will be diverted via Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound, Yuen Wo Road southbound, Tam Kon Po Street, Sha Tin Centre Street southbound, Pak Hok Ting Street, Sha Tin Centre Street northbound and Sha Tin Central Bus Terminus before resuming to its original routeing.

        Public transport operators will display notices to notify passengers of the above arrangements.
