TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements
on Kwun Tong Road and Kai Fuk Road Flyover, Kwun Tong
Motorists are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 1.00 am to 5.30 am on 29 April 2025:-
1. Road Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:-
(i) Kwun Tong Road Flyover westbound of about 350 metres near Millennium City 1; and
(ii) Kai Fuk Road Flyover westbound of about 380 metres near Manulife Place.
2. Traffic Diversion
(i) Affected vehicles on Kwun Tong Road westbound heading for Choi Hung and Sha Tin via Kwun Tong Road Flyover westbound will be diverted via Kwun Tong Road westbound at-grade; and
(ii) Affected vehicles on Kwun Tong Road westbound heading for To Kwa Wan and Hong Kong Island via Kai Fuk Road Flyover will be diverted via Kwun Tong Road westbound, Lai Yip Street southbound, Hoi Bun Road westbound, Shun Yip Street northbound and Wai Yip Street westbound.
3. Public Transport Arrangement
CTB Route No. N796 will be diverted via Kwun Tong Road westbound, Lai Yip Street southbound, Hoi Bun Road westbound, Shun Yip Street northbound and Wai Yip Street westbound before resuming its original routeing.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to observe the instruction and drive with utmost care. Notice will also be displayed by public transport operator to advise passengers of the above arrangement.
