Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Tai O Road, Lantau Island
Members of the public are advised that, to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic transport arrangements will be implemented on Tai O Road from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily from 12 May 2025 (Monday) to 16 May 2025 (Friday):
The section of Tai O Road from a point about 35 metres south of its junction with the unnamed access road leading to Wang Hang Village to a point about 15 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily converted from two-lane two-way traffic into one-lane two-way traffic.
The bus stop of NLB routes nos. 1, 11 and 21 (Tai O bound) on Tai O Road (northbound) near Hang Mei will be temporarily relocated for about 70 metres southbound.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to drive with utmost care and patience. Notices will be displayed by the bus company to inform passengers of the above temporary bus stop arrangements in advance.
