TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic Arrangements in Sheung Wan

        Motorist are advised that, to facilitate the tram track renewal works, the following temporary traffic arrangements in Sheung Wan will be implemented from 10.00 am on 4 June 2025 to 11.59 pm on 18 June 2025:-

A. Lane Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic (except trams):-

(i) Part of the traffic lane of the service road of Connaught Road Central eastbound near Cleverly Street;

(ii) Part of the traffic lane of the service road of Connaught Road Central westbound near Cleverly Street; and

(iii) Part of the leftmost traffic lane of Cleverly Street southbound near the service road of Connaught Road Central.

B. Banning of Turning Movement
(i) All vehicles exceeding 5 metres in length will be banned from making a left turn from the service road of Connaught Road Central westbound to Cleverly Street; and

(ii) All vehicles exceeding 7 metres in length will be banned from making a right turn from Morrison Street northbound to the service road of Connaught Road Central eastbound;

C. Traffic Diversion
(i) Vehicle exceeding 5 metres in length on the service road of Connaught Road Central westbound heading for Des Voeux Road Central eastbound will be diverted via the service road of Connaught Road West westbound, Wing Lok Street eastbound, Bonham Strand eastbound and Morrison Street northbound; and

(ii) Vehicle exceeding 7 metres in length on Morrison Street northbound heading for Des Voeux Road Central eastbound will be diverted via the service road of Connaught Road West westbound, Wing Lok Street eastbound, Bonham Strand eastbound and Morrison Street northbound.

Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on site to guide motorists.
