TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Tak Tin Street, Lam Tin
Motorists are advised that to facilitate road resurfacing works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Lam Tin from 10.00 pm on 30 May 2025 to 6.00 am on 31 May 2025.
(1) Lane Closure
The following traffic lanes will be closed to all vehicular traffic:
- The fast lane of Tak Tin Street eastbound from a point about 40 metres west of its junction with Lin Tak Road to a point about 90 metres east of the same junction;
- The fast lane of Tak Tin Street westbound from a point about 60 metres west of its junction with Lin Tak Road to a point about 140 metres east of the same junction;
- The slow lane of Lin Tak Road southbound from its junction with Tak Tin Street to a point about 25 metres north of the same junction; and
- The slow lane of On Tin Street northbound from its western junction with Tak Tin Street to a point about 30 metres south of the same junction.

Banning of Turning Movement
- Vehicles on Tak Tin Street westbound will be temporarily prohibited from making right turn onto Lin Tak northbound; and
- Vehicles on Lin Tak Road southbound will be temporarily prohibited from making right turn onto Tak Tin Street westbound.

Traffic Diversion
- Affected vehicles on Tak Tin Street westbound heading for Lin Tak Road northbound will be diverted via Tak Tin Street westbound, roundabout, Tak Tin Street eastbound and Lin Tak Road northbound; and
- Affected vehicles on Lin Tak Road southbound heading for Tak Tin Street westbound will be diverted via Tak Tin Street eastbound, On Tin Street southbound, Chi Tin Street and Tak Tin Street westbound.

Public Transport Arrangements
- Kowloon GMB Route Nos. 24 (Sam Ka Tsuen Ferry bound) and 60 (Shun Lee Estate bound) will be diverted via Tak Tin Street westbound, roundabout, Tak Tin Street eastbound, Lin Tak Road northbound and then resume original routeing;
- KMB Route Nos. 215X (Kowloon Station bound) and 216M (Lam Tin Station bound) will be diverted via Tak Tin Street eastbound, On Tin Street southbound, Chi Tin Street, Tak Tin Street westbound and then resume original routeing; and
- Kowloon GMB Route Nos. 62S (Tsim Sha Tsui bound) and 87 (Kowloon Bay (Kai Yan Street) bound) and New Territories GMB Route No. 17 (Lam Tin Station bound) will be diverted via Tak Tin Street eastbound, On Tin Street southbound, Chi Tin Street, Tak Tin Street westbound and then resume original routeing.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to observe the instruction and drive with utmost care. Notices will also be displayed by public transport operators to advise passengers of the above arrangement.
