Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Kwai Foo Road and Hing Fong Road, Kwai Chung

Members of the public are advised that to facilitate road resurfacing works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements at Kwai Foo Road and Hing Fong Road, Kwai Chung will be implemented during the periods as specified below:

(A) From 9.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. of the following day on 5 June 2025

(I) Lane Closure

The following lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

• The fast lane of Kwai Foo Road (westbound) from a point about 18 metres east of its junction with Kwai Yan Road to a point about 33 metres east of the same junction; and
• The middle lane of Kwai Foo Road (westbound) from a point about 11 metres west of its junction with Kwai Yan Road to a point about 91 metres west of the same junction.

(II) Public Transport Service Arrangement

• The GMB stop of GMB Route No. 302 (Hong Kong Garden bound) on Kwai Foo Road (westbound) near Kwai Chung Plaza will be temporarily relocated about 82 metres eastward;
• The bus stop of CTB Route Nos. 930 (Tsuen Wan West Station bound) and N930 (Tsuen Wan (Discovery Park) bound) on Kwai Foo Road (westbound) near Kwai Chung Plaza will be temporarily relocated about 130 metres eastward; and
• The bus stop of KMB Route Nos. 43A (Tsing Yi (Cheung Wang Estate) bound) and 61M (Lai King (North) bound) on Kwai Foo Road (westbound) near Kwai Chung Plaza will be temporarily relocated about 130 metres eastward.

(B) From 9.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. of the following day on 10 June 2025

(I) Lane Closure

The following lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

• The second rightmost lane of Kwai Foo Road (westbound) from its junction with Hing Fong Road to a point about 62 metres east of the same junction;
• The right lane of the slip road leading from Kwai Foo Road (westbound) to Hing Fong Road (southbound);
• The slow lane of Hing Fong Road (southbound) from a point about 25 metres north of its junction with Kwai Foo Road to a point about 53 metres north of the same junction; and
• The slow lane of Hing Fong Road (southbound) from its junction with Kwai Foo Road to a point about 33 metres south of the same junction.

(II) Public Transport Service Arrangement

• The bus stop of CTB Route Nos. 930 (Tsuen Wan West Station bound) and N930 (Tsuen Wan (Discovery Park) bound) on Kwai Foo Road (westbound) near Kwai Chung Plaza will be temporarily relocated about 130 metres eastward; and
• The bus stop of KMB Route Nos. 43A (Tsing Yi (Cheung Wang Estate) bound) and 61M (Lai King (North) bound) on Kwai Foo Road (westbound) near Kwai Chung Plaza will be temporarily relocated about 130 metres eastward.

(C) From 9.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. of the following day on 12 June 2025

(I) Lane Closure

The following lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

• The slow lane of Kwai Foo Road (westbound) from its junction with Kwai Yan Road to a point about 122 metres west of the same junction; and
• The slow lane of Hing Fong Road (southbound) from a point about 25 metres north of its junction with Kwai Foo Road to a point about 53 metres north of the same junction.

(II) Public Transport Service Arrangement

• The GMB stop of GMB Route No. 302 (Hong Kong Garden bound) on Kwai Foo Road (westbound) near Kwai Chung Plaza will be temporarily relocated about 82 metres eastward;
• The bus stop of CTB Route Nos. 930 (Tsuen Wan West Station bound) and N930 (Tsuen Wan (Discovery Park) bound) on Kwai Foo Road (westbound) near Kwai Chung Plaza will be temporarily relocated about 130 metres eastward; and
• The bus stop of KMB Route Nos. 43A (Tsing Yi (Cheung Wang Estate) bound) and 61M (Lai King (North) bound) on Kwai Foo Road (westbound) near Kwai Chung Plaza will be temporarily relocated about 130 metres eastward.

Motorists could use the remaining lanes of the above road sections. Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Notice will also be displayed by public transport operator to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
