Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on South Lantau Road, Lantau Island
Members of the public are advised that, to facilitate sewerage works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on South Lantau Road from 8 a.m. on 17 June 2025 (Tuesday) to 6 p.m. on 31 July 2025 (Thursday).
1. Lane closure
The section of South Lantau Road westbound near the Ngau Au Yuen bus stop will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic. The above road section will be temporarily converted from two-lane two-way traffic into one-lane two-way traffic.
2. Bus stop suspension
The bus stop on South Lantau Road westbound near Ngau Au Yuen of NLB route nos. 1, 2, 3M, 4, A35 and N35 (Tai O/ Tung Chung bound) will be suspended. Affected passengers may use the Lo Uk Tsuen bus stop on South Lantau Road westbound.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to drive with utmost care and patience. Notices will be displayed by the bus company to inform passengers of the above temporary arrangement for bus stop suspension.
