Traffic Advice
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on King Cho Road, Kwai Chung
Members of the public are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements on King Cho Road will be implemented from 9.30 pm to 5.30 am of the following day on 24 June 2025:
(I) Lane Conversion
- The section of King Cho Road between Lai King Community Hall and Lai King Hill Road Playground will be temporarily converted into one-lane two-way traffic.
(II) Temporary Public Transport Service Arrangement
(A) Bus and Green Minibus (GMB) Stop Arrangements
- The bus stop of KMB Route Nos. 30 (Cheung Sha Wan bound), 45 (Kowloon City Ferry bound) and 46 (West Kowloon Station Bus Terminus bound) on King Cho Road (eastbound) will be relocated to Cho Yiu Bus Terminus;
- The terminus of KMB Route No. 269M on Cho Yiu Bus Terminus will be relocated to King Cho Road (eastbound) opposite to Cho Yiu Centre; and
- The GMB stop of GMB Route Nos. 46M (Lai King Station bound), 91A (Kwai Fong Station bound), 93 (Tsuen Wan (Ham Tin Street) bound) and 93A (Tsuen Wan (Ham Tin Street) bound) on King Cho Road (northbound) outside Lai King Community Hall will be suspended.
(B) Bus Diversion
- KMB Routes Nos. 30 (Cheung Sha Wan bound), 45 (Kowloon City Ferry bound) and 46 (West Kowloon Station Bus Terminus bound) will be diverted via Lai King Hill Road (southbound), King Cho Road (northbound), King Cho Road (westbound), right turn onto King Cho Road (eastbound), King Cho Road (southbound), Lai King Hill Road (eastbound), and resume to their original routeing;
- KMB Routes Nos. 30 (Allway Gardens bound), 45 (Lai Yiu bound) and 46 (Lai Yiu bound) will be diverted via Lai King Hill Road (westbound), King Cho Road (northbound), King Cho Road (westbound), right turn onto King Cho Road (eastbound), King Cho Road (southbound), Lai King Hill Road (westbound), and resume to their original routeing; and
- KMB Route No. 269M (Tin Yan Estate bound) will be diverted via King Cho Road (eastbound), King Cho Road (southbound), Lai King Hill Road (westbound), and resume to their original routeing.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary transport arrangements.
