TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Kai Tin Road, Lam Tin


        Motorists are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Lam Tin from 10.30 pm on 27 June 2025 to 6.00 am on 28 June 2025.

     (1)  Lane Closure

            The following road sections will be closed to all vehicular traffic:

    1. The traffic lane of Kai Tin Road southbound from a point about 55 metres south of its junction with Tak Tin Street to a point about 145 metres south of the same junction;
    2. The layby on Kai Tin Road southbound opposite to Lam Tin (West) Estate Community Centre; and
    3. The layby on Kai Tin Road southbound outside Kai Tin Shopping Centre.
   (2)  Lane Conversion
    1. The section of Kai Tin Road of about 120 metres near Lam Tin (West) Estate Community Centre will be temporarily converted from two-lane two-way traffic into one-lane two-way traffic.
  (3)  Public Transport Arrangements

The following public transport arrangements will be implemented from 10.30 pm on 27 June 2025 to 5.15 am on 28 June 2025:

    1. The bus stops of KMB Route Nos. 215X and 216M on Kai Tin Road northbound opposite to Kai Tin Shopping Centre will be temporarily relocated about 90 metres northward; and
    2. The bus stops of KMB Route Nos. 15, 15A, 16M, 38, 215X, CTB Route Nos. 694, E22, N29 and XHT Route No. 690 on Kai Tin Road southbound outside Kai Tin Shopping Centre will be temporarily relocated about 80 metres southward.

The following public transport arrangements will be implemented from 10.30 pm on 27 June 2025 to 6.00 am on 28 June 2025:

    1. The GMB stops of Kowloon GMB Route Nos. 62S and 87 and NT GMB Route No. 17 on Kai Tin Road northbound opposite to Kai Tin Shopping Centre will be temporarily relocated about 90 metres northward; and
    2. The GMB stops of Kowloon GMB Route No. 62S and 87 on Kai Tin Road southbound outside Kai Tin Shopping Centre will be temporarily relocated about 80 metres southward.
       Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to observe the instruction and drive with utmost care. Notices will also be displayed by public transport operators to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
