ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374 SUB. LEG. G)
TEMPORARY RESTRICTED ZONE ON HOI TAI STREET, QUARRY BAY

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374 sub. leg. G, I hereby direct that with effect from 8.00 a.m. on 9 July 2025 to 6.00 p.m. on 23 July 2025, the northern kerbside lane of Hoi Tai Street from its junction with Hoi Shin Lane to a point about 50 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily designated as a restricted zone 24 hours daily.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
