ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES ON TIN HAU ROAD, YIP WONG ROAD AND LUNG CHAK ROAD, TUEN MUN

In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 4 July 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

  1. the section of Tin Hau Road from its junction with Yip Wong Road to a point about 40 metres east of the same junction;
  2. the section of Tin Hau Road between its junction with Yip Wong Road and the roundabout at Tin Hau Road;
  3. the roundabout at Tin Hau Road except the vehicular access of Nan Fung Industrial City;
  4. the section of Yip Wong Road from its junction with Tin Hau Road to a point about 80 metres north of the same junction;
  5. the section of Yip Wong Road between its junction with Tin Hau Road and the roundabout at Yip Wong Road except the vehicular access of The Church of Christ in China Hoh Fuk Tong Primary School;
  6. the roundabout at Yip Wong Road except the vehicular access of Lung Yat Estate; and
  7. Lung Chak Road.

     Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

  1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
  2. loading or unloading goods.

     The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

     At the same time, the restricted zone gazettes on 9 May 2003 under G.N. No. 3093, 28 September 2009 under G.N. No. 6020, 27 May 2011 under G.N. No. 3358, 11 October 2013 under G.N. No. 6091 and 15 June 2024 under G.N. No. 3410 will be rescinded.
