Road Traffic Ordinance (Chapter 374)
Extension of Temporary Speed Limit
on Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung, Tsuen Wan

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 6.00 p.m. on 11 July 2025 to 6.00 p.m. on 31 July 2025, the section of Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung eastbound from a point about 130 meters east of its junction with Shing Mun Road to a point about 600 meters east of the same junction will continue to be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road section will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
