In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12 a.m. to 5.30 a.m. daily on 22 July, 29 July and 5 August 2025, the section of Fanling Highway (westbound) from a point about 200 meters east of its junction with Kai Leng roundabout to a point about 650 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily subjected to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. 

At the same time, the existing speed limit of 100 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
