TRAFFIC ADVICE
Traffic and Transport Arrangements at Forbes Street, Western District
Members of the public are advised that to facilitate footpath widening works, the following traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented at Forbes Street during the periods specified below:
A. Temporary Closure of Traffic Lanes
The following traffic lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
B. Permanent Suspension of PLB Stand
The PLB stand at Forbes Street opposite to Luen On Apartments will be permanently suspended with effect from 10.00 am on 15 July 2025.
C. Permanent Relocation of GMB Stand
The GMB stand at Forbes Street opposite to Luen On Apartments will be permanently relocated about 20 metres westward with effect from 10.00 am on 15 July 2025.
D. Permanent Relocation of Bus and GMB Stops
The bus stop of CTB Route No. 43M and the GMB stop of Route No. 12 at Forbes Street near Kennedy Town Station Exit C will be permanently relocated about 30 metres westward with effect from 10.00 am on 15 July 2025.
Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on-site to guide motorists. The public transport operators will display notices at the stop to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
