ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES ON HOI CHU ROAD, HING ON LANE, FUNG ON STREET AND HOI WONG ROAD, TUEN MUN
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 18 July 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-
- the northern kerbside lane of Hoi Chu Road from its junction with Hoi Wong Road to a point about 18 metres east of its junction with Fung On Street;
- the section of Hing On Lane from its junction with Hoi Chu Road to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction;
- the section of Fung On Street from its junction with Hoi Chu Road to a point about 46 metres north of the same junction;
- the cul-de-sac of an unnamed road leading to the parking spaces of Fung On Street near Tsui Ning Garden;
- the southern kerbside lane of Hoi Chu Road from its junction with Hoi Wong Road to a point about 142 metres east of the same junction; and
- the eastern kerbside lane of Hoi Wong Road from its junction with Hoi Chu Road to a point about 22 metres south of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
- picking up or setting down passengers; or
- loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
At the same time, the restricted zone gazettes on 22 August 2003 under G.N. No. 5719, 29 August 2003 under G.N. No. 5887, 24 February 2006 under G.N. No. 1216, 27 April 2012 under G.N. No. 2891 and 12 October 2018 under G.N. No. 7730 will be rescinded.
