Traffic Advice
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Tai Loong Street, Kwai Chung
Members of the public are advised that to facilitate lifting works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements on Tai Loong Street will be implemented from 1.30 am to 5.15 am on 20 July 2025:
(I) Road Closure
- The section of Tai Loong Street from its junction with Tai Pak Tin Street to a point about 63 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
(II) Banning of Turning Movement
- All vehicles on the estate access road near Shek Fook House, Shek Lei (II) Estate will be prohibited from making left turn onto Tai Pak Tin Street westbound.
(III) Traffic Diversion
- Affected vehicles on Wo Yi Hop Road (both bound) heading to Tai Loong Street will be diverted via Tai Loong Street southbound, Tai Pak Tin Street eastbound, Shek Li Street southbound, Shek Li Street westbound, Wai Kek Street northbound and Tai Loong Street westbound;
- Affected vehicles on Tai Pak Tin Street westbound heading to Tai Loong Street will be diverted via Shek Li Street southbound, Shek Li Street westbound, Wai Kek Street northbound and Tai Loong Street westbound; and
- Affected vehicles on estate access road near Shek Fook House, Shek Lei (II) Estate heading to Tai Loong Street will be diverted via Tai Pak Tin Street eastbound, Shek Li Street southbound, Shek Li Street westbound, Wai Kek Street northbound and Tai Loong Street westbound.
(IV) Temporary Public Transport Service Arrangement
(A) Bus Stop Arrangement
- The bus stop of KMB Route No. N237 (Kwai Shing bound) on Tai Loong Street westbound will be relocated to Shek Li Street (westbound) near Shek Wai House, Shek Lei (II) Estate.
(B) Bus Diversion
- KMB Route No. N237 (Kwai Shing bound) will be diverted via Wo Yi Hop Road eastbound, Tai Loong Street southbound, Tai Pak Tin Street eastbound, Shek Li Street southbound, Shek Li Street westbound, Wai Kek Street southbound and resume to its original routeing.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. The bus company will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary transport arrangements.
