ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
PROHIBITED ZONES IN HONG KONG PORT AREA OF SHENZHEN BAY PORT
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.01 a.m. on 28 July 2025, the following area and road sections in Hong Kong Port Area of Shenzhen Bay Port will be designated prohibited zones 24 hours daily:
- Drivers of all motor vehicles, except buses, fleet taxis and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving any vehicles into the coach pick-up area;
- Drivers of all motor vehicles, except private cars and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving any vehicles into the northbound access road leading to the departure private car holding area starting from its diverging point with the northbound access road leading to the coach drop-off area;
- Drivers of all motor vehicles, except buses, goods vehicles and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving any vehicles into the northbound access road leading to the coach drop-off area starting from its diverging point with the northbound access road leading to the departure private car holding area; and
- Drivers of all motor vehicles, except buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving any vehicles into the northbound access road north of the coach drop-off area leading to the departure coach examination kiosks.
The extent of the prohibited zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs on site.
At the same time, the existing prohibited zones implemented in the Hong Kong Port Area of Shenzhen Bay Port as gazetted in G.N. 4165 of 2007 will be rescinded.
