ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (CHAPTER 374)
Temporary Speed Limit on Penny's Bay Highway

           In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm daily on 5 to 8 and 12 to 15 August 2025, the section of Penny's Bay Highway northbound from a point about 400 metres north of its junction with Magic Road to its junction with the slip road leading to North Lantau Highway eastbound will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

          Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

          At the same time, the existing speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
