Motorists are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements on Castle Peak Road and Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung will be implemented during the period specified as below:

(A) From 1.00 am to 6.00 am on 30 July and 31 July 2025

(I) Lane Closure

From 1.00 am to 6.00 am on 30 July and 31 July 2025

• The section of the fast lane of Castle Peak Road northbound from a point about 40 metres south of its junction with Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung to a point about 260 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic;
• The section of the fast lane of Castle Peak Road northbound from its junction with Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung to a point about 13 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic; and
• The section of the middle lane and fast lane of Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung northbound from its junction with Castle Peak Road to a point about 78 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

From 1.00 am to 6.00 am on 31 July 2025

• The section of the fast lane of Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung southbound from its junction with Cheung Hang Road to a point about 72 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

(II) Banning of Turning Movement

• All vehicles on Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung northbound will be prohibited from making right turn onto the slip road leading to Ching Cheung Road eastbound.

(III) Traffic Diversion

• Affected vehicles on Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung northbound heading for Kwun Tong will be diverted via Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung northbound, Tai Wo Interchange westbound, Tai Wo Interchange northbound, Tai Wo Interchange eastbound, Tai Wo Interchange northbound, Tai Wo Interchange southbound, Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung southbound and the slip road leading to Ching Cheung Road eastbound.

(B) From 11.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day on 31 July 2025

(I) Lane Closure

• The section of the fast lane of Castle Peak Road northbound from a point about 40 metres south of its junction with Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung to a point about 260 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic;
• The section of the fast lane of Castle Peak Road northbound from its junction with Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung to a point about 13 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic;
• The section of the fast lane of Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung northbound from its junction with Castle Peak Road to a point about 26 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic; and
• The section of the middle lane and fast lane of Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung northbound from a point about 33 metres north of its junction with Castle Peak Road to a point about 122 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

(II) Banning of Turning Movement

• All vehicles on Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung northbound will be prohibited from making right turn onto Cheung Hang Road eastbound.

(III) Traffic Diversion

• Affected vehicles on Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung northbound heading for Cheung Hang Road eastbound will be diverted via Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung northbound, Tai Wo Interchange westbound, Tai Wo Interchange northbound, Tai Wo Interchange eastbound, Tai Wo Interchange northbound, Tai Wo Interchange southbound, Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung southbound and Cheung Hang Road eastbound.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
