ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (CHAPTER 374)
TEMPORARY SPEED LIMIT ON SAN TIN HIGHWAY, YUEN LONG

　　In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 0.01 am to 5.00 am daily on 5, 7, 12 and 14 August 2025, the following sections of San Tin Highway will be temporarily subject to the speed limits as described below:

1. The section of San Tin Highway northbound between about chainage marker 36.9A and about chainage marker 36.0A will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour;
2. The section of San Tin Highway northbound between about chainage marker 35.5A and about chainage marker 35.4A will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour; and
3. The section of San Tin Highway northbound between about chainage marker 36.0A and about chainage marker 35.5A will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

　　Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.

　　At the same time, the existing speed limit of 100 kilometres per hour on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
