ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (CHAPTER 374)
TEMPORARY SPEED LIMIT ON TATE'S CAIRN HIGHWAY
AND MA ON SHAN ROAD

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.01 am to 6.00 am on 7 August 2025, the following road sections will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour:


    1. the section of Tate's Cairn Highway (northbound) from a point about 80 metres south of its junction with Ma On Shan Road (northbound) to a point of the same junction; and
    2. the section of Ma On Shan Road (northbound) from a point about 115 metres south of its junction with Tate's Cairn Highway (northbound) to a point about 1200 metres north of the same junction.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.


        At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
