In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 0:01 am to 5:30 am daily on 13, 18 and 19 August 2025, the following road sections will be subject to a temporary speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour:

1. Fanling Highway westbound from a point about 540 metres east of its junction with So Kwun Po Road to a point about 320 metres west of the same junction;
2. The slip road leading from Fanling Highway westbound to So Kwun Po Road from a point about 240 metres east of its junction with So Kwun Po Road to a point about 145 metres east of the same junction;
3. The slip road leading from So Kwun Po Road to Fanling Highway westbound from a point about 65 metres west of its junction with So Kwun Po Road to a point about 235 metres west of the same junction;
4. Fanling Highway eastbound from a point about 615 metres west of its junction with So Kwun Po Road to a point about 275 metres east of the same junction;
5. The slip road leading from Po Shek Wu Road to Fanling Highway eastbound from a point about 30 metres east of its junction with Po Shek Wu Road to a point about 275 metres east of the same junction;
6. The slip road leading from Fanling Highway eastbound to So Kwun Po Road from a point about 240 metres west of its junction with So Kwun Po Road to a point about 145 metres west of the same junction; and
7. The slip road leading from So Kwun Po Road to Fanling Highway eastbound from a point from 120 metres east of its junction with So Kwun Po Road to a point about 230 metres east of the same junction.

          Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

          At the same time, the existing speed limit of 100 kilometres per hour on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
