ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
PROHIBITED ZONES ON DES VOEUX ROAD CENTRAL AND QUEEN'S ROAD CENTRAL, CENTRAL

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 8 August 2025, the following road sections will be designated as prohibited zones 24 hours daily:

1. 1. The section of Des Voeux Road Central westbound between Bank Street and Jubilee Street;
   2. The section of Des Voeux Road Central eastbound between Pedder Street and Ice House Street;
   3. The section of Des Voeux Road Central eastbound between Ice House Street and Queen's Road Central (except 7.00 am to 12.00 midnight on Public Holidays); and
   4. The section of Queen's Road Central between Des Voeux Road Central eastbound and Murray Road (except 7.00 am to 12.00 midnight on Public Holidays).

        Drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving vehicles into the above prohibited zones.

        The extent of the prohibited zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs.
